What does the Governors' Foundation of Hope do in concrete terms?
We really do support families. With each new request, we take the time to listen, to understand the family’s reality, their challenges, their urgencies. Our help is governed by clear rules – because transparency is essential – but remains flexible to adapt to what each family is going through.
Our role is to ease the shock, reduce the stress and offer a breath of hope at a time when everything seems to be falling apart.

The disease strikes indiscriminately, in every region. The Foundation supports families across Quebec, including those in more remote communities. Wherever they are, families can count on human, accessible help that respects their reality.
Tangible financial assistance that changes everyday life
The impact of our support is direct and immediate.
Every month, families receive gift cards for basic needs – groceries, gas and pharmacy – worth up to $1,000 a month, depending on their situation.
This support allows you to breathe a little between two treatments, two appointments or two pieces of bad news. It eases a real burden and restores a modicum of stability to everyday life.
