Organize a Facebook Fundraiser!

Did you know that it is really easy to raise funds for the Fondation des Gouverneurs de l’Espoir?

You may have seen posts on Facebook from people raising funds for an organization? The Fondation des Gouverneurs de l’Espoir is registered with PayPal Giving Funds, a completely free and secure fundraising service. 100% of donations are passed on to the Foundation, and charitable donation receipts are provided by PayPal Giving Fund and Facebook.

Many of our supporters have done it (Thank you Mélanie, Julie, Chantal, Sonia, Élise, Mylène, Nicole, Stéphane, Steve, and all the others!) and we want to encourage you to do the same!

Here are 9 images outlining the steps to create any fundraising campaign on Facebook in just a few minutes!

On your newsfeed, in the left column, click on EXPLORE, it will open the list, and that’s where you’ll see FUNDRAISERS.
Then click on the green button + RAISE FUNDS
Then click on CHARITIES.

In the search box, type in Gouverneurs and the Fondation des Gouverneurs de l’espoir will appear. Click on it.

Here, you need to enter the amount of your fundraiser (you can change it at any time) and the end date of your fundraiser.

Then, you need to choose a title for your fundraiser, for example I’m donating my birthday to the Fondation des Gouverneurs de l’espoir or I’m fundraising for the Fondation des Gouverneurs de l’espoir…

A pre-generated text will appear in the “Why” section: you can leave it as is or modify it according to your preference.

The final step is to choose an image from the suggested selection, upload one from your photo library, or use the provided image from the Foundation.

Once you’ve chosen your image, your campaign is launched!

You just need to invite your friends to participate and share your fundraiser on your newsfeed to accumulate donations!

As you can see, it’s pretty simple: you can launch a campaign on Facebook in less than 5 minutes and directly help the Foundation!
